Terms & Conditions 2023/24

Atlas (IOW) Ltd, trading as Atlas Ferries works in partnership with Wightlink Ferries to offer a fully managed and discounted ferry ticket service to tourist visitors to the Isle of Wight. This is provided through a network of independent accommodation providers across the Island.

 

All ferry tickets supplied are from Wightlink, departing from Portsmouth or Lymington they are domestic vehicle crossings, we are unable to offer foot passenger tickets or commercial traffic.

  

Once we receive an enquiry for a ferry ticket, we will research the best available crossing and communicate the details to a customer, this is in the form of an email with a link to pay and confirm the ticket.

 

Full payment is required via the Stripe payment Link to confirm a ferry ticket. Once in receipt of cleared funds we will issue tickets through the Wightlink system directly to the customer.

 

Booking, amendment and cancellation requests can be made in writing via the booking form or email during business hours: Monday-Friday 9am-6pm and Weekends and Bank Holidays 9am-5pm. We will endeavour to reply to any enquiries as soon as we can.

 

All amendments are free of charge; however, a fare difference may apply. Any fare difference must be paid in full at time of amendment.

 

A confirmed ticket may be cancelled up to 48 hours before travel. A £5 administration fee applies. 

 

All tickets are subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Ferry Operator Wightlink.

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

 

For becoming a partner with Atlas (IOW) Ltd, Trading as Atlas Ferries

For the purpose of securing a discounted ferry ticket.

We may share this information with Wightlink as appropriate for making a booking.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

How we store your personal information.

Your information is securely stored using accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect personal data from loss or misuse or unauthorised access.

Please note however that where you are transmitting information via the internet this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

All payments we take from you online are through a recognised secure payment system and we do not store any financial information.

Once we have completed providing a service to you, we keep personal information in an archived form to comply with future legal obligations. When it is no longer necessary to retain your information, we will destroy, delete, or anonymise it. 

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.

Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
